Large vintage comic figure - Fix & Foxi 60s 70s action figurine - Football fox Rolf Kauka cartoon squeaky toy GDR collectible

This is a large vintage comic figure of the Fix & Foxi series, a cartoon that was invented in the 1950s by Ralf Kauka in the GDR. These figures were presumabely made in the late 1960s or 1970s.
They are made out of soft plastic or rubber, and can be pressed to produce squeaky sounds. The head can be rotated. This one, Foxi (one of the main characters) has a ball in his hands.

The figures are quite large (see dimensions below), and underneath they're stamped with "(c) Produktion Rolf Kauka". Also, the characters name is stamped on the side of a shoe. They seem to have been handpainted.

The condition is quite good, there are no major flaws. But of course they're clearly in a "vintage condition", the paint has been rubbed off on many places and there are scratches etc. This one also does not produce squeaky sounds anymore (which one on the other hand may take as an asset...).
Still, they make a great impression, not only due to their size, but also because of their appearance as a whole.

We have 2 more of these figures in our shop, so be sure to check these out as well!
