Mold for baking traditional cookies like Lebkuchen or Spekulatius biscuit - Wall decoration vintage German Christmas form made from wax gingerbread flower pattern

This is a vintage, traditional baking mold made out of some kind of wax. In Germany, moulds like this are used since centuries to form Christmas biscuits such as Lebkuchen (gingerbread) or Spekulatius. This baking form is likely made to not serve this purpose, but rather is destined to be a decorative item to be hung at a wall - a picture hook is already attached. It shows a crude and beautiful flower pattern and has a very old and rustic look to it.

The condition is very good with only small signs of age and use (or rather storage, there's no cookie dough on it or something like that).

Dimensions: 11,5 cm width, ca. 20 cm length, 1 cm height, ca. 260 g weight.
