Set of 2 silver plated bowls - Vintage heavy Bauhaus design 1920s hotelware serving with style

Here you get a beautiful set of 2 silver plated bowls in the very straight and futuristic vintage Bauhaus design from the 1920s. We're not sure though if they're really from that time, they might well be a bit younger, presumabely from the 1950s or 1960s. They were made by German manufacturer "Schwabenland".
The bowls are elegantly shaped, with huge handles and a simplistic functional form. They are quite heavy and made from thick steel, and possess a light silver-plating. Such bowls typically are hotelware, and we're pretty sure that these were once used in a noble German hotel.
We started polishing one of them, but decided to leave it there in favor of the patina. It will return if you cherish that, or you can polish them further if you prefer them shiny.

The bowls are in used condition, so they show several scratches as common signs of use. But apart of this, they're good-lookin', or one might say because of this, as these scratches and scars add some natural character. Please check the pictures for details!
