This original invention "Tranchetta" by German manufacturer Westmark is a slicing aid, made to grip and cut your meat, roast, bread, etc. in even slices.
It's a stylish and also practical little helper, that also keeps your hands safe and away from the knife!
The Tranchetta comes in its original box and was likely never used. Judging from the box, it was made around the 1960s or 1970s.
